Visit Rolous Group temple,ย the earliest temple structures in Angkor period dating from the late 9th century. The major temple of Rolous group is included with Lolei, Preah Ko and Bakong temple.
Bakong Temple: is one of the four temples which form part of the Roluos Group of Temples. The other temples in the group include Lolei, Preah Ko and Prasat Monti.ย This group of temples predate Angkor Wat by a few centuries. Bakong was built in the latter part of the 9th century and was the state temple for King Indravarman I. It was located in middle of what was then the first capital city of the Khmer empire โ Hariharalaya.
Preah Ko Temple: is one of the four temples which make up the Roluos Group, the other three being Bakong, Lolei and Prasat Prei Monti. Itโs one of the oldest temples built during the Khmer empire and predates Angkor Wat by a few hundred years. It was built in what was then the capital city (Hariharalaya) before it was moved to Angkor Thom. Nowadays, many people make the 15km or so journey out to Preah Ko to see this temple and the others in the area.
Lolei temple: is one of the temples which make up the Roluos group. It was built in the 9th century and was a Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva. It was once an island temple, but the reservoir where it was built has long since been dry. Lolei was the last major temple to be built in what was once the capital city of the Khmer empire before King Yasovarman I moved the capital to what is now Angkor Thom.

Tonle Sap Lake The floating villages at Tonle Sap Lake have become something of an interest for tourists visiting Siem Reap. The fascination with people who live in floating houses, travel to floating schools and eat at floating restaurants is quite an attraction for the many visitors that come to Cambodia.
As well as the floating villages, there are also stilted villages along the banks of Tonle Sap Lake, where houses and buildings rest on tall, thin stilts that keep the occupants dry during the wet season, with giant ladders to reach the lower levels during the dry season.
